What types of photography services do you offer?
Michelle Dokes Photography offers a variety of services including headshots, lifestyle photography, branding photography, high school seniors photography, family, couples and maternity sessions.

Will you help me with posing?
Absolutely! During your session, I will guide you with posing to ensure you feel comfortable and look your best.
My goal is to create natural and flattering poses that highlight your personality and style.
What should I wear?
My aim is to capture your unique style and personality in your photos. Instead of giving strict guidelines on what to wear, I offer recommendations tailored to the location, season, and theme of your session. After booking, we'll have a 20-minute phone consultation to discuss details like clothing, location, and overall style. This ensures your photos reflect your individuality beautifully.
What is your pricing structure?
Our pricing depends on the type and duration of the session. For detailed information, please visit our Investment section or contact us directly for a customized quote.
What is included in a photography session?
Each session includes a pre-session consultation, the photoshoot, professional editing of selected images, and a private online gallery where you can view and download your photos. Print packages and additional images are also available at an additional cost.


What about choosing a location?
We offer both in-studio and on-location sessions. We can suggest beautiful locations in the area or work with a location of your choice. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
What if the weather is not ideal for an outdoor photo session?
If the weather is unfavorable on the day of your outdoor session, we will reschedule to the next available date at no additional cost. If bad weather is anticipated in advance, we can agree to move the session to an indoor location. You also have the option to have your session at my studio.
Can I bring props or pets to the session?
Absolutely! We encourage incorporating personal items and pets into your photos to make them more meaningful. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we offer gift certificates for all of our photography services. They make a great gift for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. Contact us to purchase a gift certificate.


How do I book a session?
You can book a session by clicking on the "Investment" section to select the session you are interested in. If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out through our website’s contact form, email us at [email protected] , or call 773-203-0350. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a fee.
